Autobiographies and Company Histories
Each of the ghostwritten books below was written with the person whose name is on the cover. Over the course of a year or so, through a series of recorded conversations, I helped them turn their stories into books that celebrate their lives, their careers and the businesses they built.
Most of the people I’ve worked with — founders, business owners, retiring executives and family-business leaders — didn’t come to me thinking their story was worth writing down. A few of them had to be persuaded by their families or their teams before they even sat down for the first conversation.
By the time the book was finished, they had changed their minds. Why? Because the process of telling their story carefully, to someone whose only job was to listen, gave them permission and time to reflect on their successes and failures, values and lessons learned, in most cases for the first time.
That’s what a ghostwritten book is actually for. Yes, a book can be great for your brand and your business but in most cases, it’s much more than that. It’s a record of a life, of the people who shaped you, the turning points along the way, and the decisions that shaped a company. Written well, it’s the version of a life their family, their team and the people who come after them will come back to for years to come.
Ghostwriting Case Studies
Every book has a story of its own. Here are some insights into how the books I’ve written came together. I explain the process involved in getting the stories onto the page, how we handled the doubts and fears that most people go through during the process and the end result: how the client felt about the book and the impact it had on them and their business.

“If you ever get the chance to write a book of your own, then do it.”
“‘Zero to 60’ started off as a project to record my life so far,” Tony Quinn told me, “but it developed into much more than that and it really surprised me.” Tony enjoyed the process so much we wrote a second book together.

How I helped Bill Buckley get his incredible founder story out of his head and onto the page
When we first started working together on his book Bill didn’t particularly want to tell his story. Like a lot of founders, he’s a doer, not a talker.
